JSU Automation Suite for Jira Workflows (JSU) is easy to use and even easier to set up. Simply follow the instructions below for installing or upgrading JSU in Jira.

Install JSU

Installing JSU app JSU is no different to from installing any other Jira add-ons (see Managing add-ons in the Jira documentation).

To install the JSU app:

  1. Click the

    'Administration' link on

    Administration cog icon at the top

    bar and choose '

    right of Jira and select Manage Apps (or Add-ons

    '

    ).

  2. Click the '

    Select Find new

    add-ons' link under the '

    apps under Atlassian Marketplace

    ' section in

     in the left

    menu

    sidebar.

  3. Type

    '

    JSU

    ' in

     in the search field and

    hit enter

    press Enter.

  4. The JSU app

    will appear. Click the button to install it.

    displays in the search results. Click Buy Now (or Free Trial) and select your license requirements. Trial licenses are valid for 30 days.

  5. A confirmation message and

    the app details will display, if it is installed successfully.
  6. Be aware, that you need a license since JSU version 2.0.0 . You might choose an evaluation license for the first 30 days.

Now that you have installed JSU, you are ready to automate your Jira workflows at super speed and with zero coding necessary! 

Update JSU

Updating the JSU app is also no different to from updating any other Jira app (see Managing add-ons in the Jira documentation), i.e.

To update the JSU app:

  1. Click the

    'Administration' link on the top bar to open the Jira administration console.
  2. Click the 'Manage add-ons' link under the 'Add-ons' section in the left menu. You will see all the apps installed on your Jira instance.
  3. Find JSU in the list.
  4. Click the 'Update'.

Now that you have installed JSU, you are ready to automate your Jira workflows at super speed and with zero coding necessary!

  2. Select Manage apps under Atlassian Marketplace in the left sidebar. 

  3. Locate JSU in the list of installed apps and click Update.
