JSU 2.0.0 Release Notes
21st June 2017
You're efficient within your team, but is your team efficient in working with other teams?
We proudly announce the new JSU 2.0, the biggest leap forward since we released version 1.0 in 2011 - it's finally possible to connect workflows of different teams in JIRA.
The new release includes additional and powerful post functions that make your daily work in JIRA even more easy and uncomplicated!
HERE ARE SOME NEW FUNCTIONS & FEATURESÂ
- Create linked issues during transitions.
It's not just a simple clone. Define the necessary fields that should be copied to the new issue and those that should not. - Trigger a transition on a linked issue.
In combination with the function before, this novelty becomes super powerful. - Different end status of a transition.Â
Depending on the current state of an issue, the end status of a transition can differ.
This also consinders issue fields, which had just been changed by a user or another post function during the transition. - Validate the Status of Linked Issues
Do not allow a transition, if not all linked issues have reached a certain status. - Bulk CopyÂ
After defining a JIRA search filter, you are now able to copy the resulting issues to another project with just a few clicks. - Automatically trigger transition
Periodically run a background job, which changes the status of all issues matching a JQL search result.
Since JSU has become a critical part for many JIRA users, we want to match their expectations regarding quick, profound and professional support.
To be able to provide such first class support, add more exiting new features and deliver ongoing improvements, we decided to change JSU into a commercial app.
