"Update any Issue Field" Post Function (former "Update Issue Custom Field" post function)
This used to be the "Update Issue Custom Field" post function. With JSU 2.4.0 we also cover system fields with this post function. That's why we also renamed it. Wherever you previously had a "Update Custom Field" post Function" in your workflow, this will appear as "Update any Issue Field" post function after the update to JSU 2.4.0 .
With this additional functionality, we also improved the stability of JSU in general . The different modules of JSU now behave more consistent. This brings the following small changes:
- When using the option "Append", the values of a text field are now separated with just a comma (new: ",") instead a comma followed by a blank (previous: ", ").
- The option "Append" has also been streamlined for custom fields. In general text- and multi value destination fields (String, Collection) are now well supported by "Append", but no other field types.
