You have reached this point with absolutely zero coding necessary

All you need to do with JSU is point and click at choices as you follow instructions or go through the app's intuitive interface.

Now, let's see how JSU works in action.

Have you ever forgotten to close your sub-tasks before you close an issue?

Discover how JSU can help you automate the laborious task of closing multiple sub-tasks under a parent issue.

Use case: Automatically close all sub-tasks once the parent issue is closed by using a JSU post-function.

Step 1:

Under the Transitions column, select “Done (21)”.

Step 2:

Switch to the post functions tab and on its upper right corner, click on “Add post function”.

Step 3:

Select the post-function “Linked transition (JSU)” and click on “Add” at the bottom of the page.

Step 4:

Configure the parameters:

  • On the “Trigger transition on all issues related as” parameter, choose “Parent/Sub-task”.
  • On the drop down menu, make sure it says “All sub-tasks (issue in Transition must be parent)”.
  • On the “Transition” drop-down menu, select “Done (21)“ to ensure all sub-tasks would turn to Done.
  • For this transition, you should also select a resolution status you desire from the “Resolution” drop-down menu.
  • Finally, click “Add” at the bottom of the page.
  • Remember, it is important to click on the “Publish”  button inside the yellow box before you move on.

Step 5:

Once you’ve published your workflow, set-up an issue and create as many sub-tasks as you want, in your new project. Click on the “Done” button and see JSU in action as it automatically turns all sub-task statuses to Done!
